SG Rec 'Come Undone' by Raven

This is a remix story, and I don't know I would have recced it if it wasn't. Not because it isn't good, it is, but it deals with Daniel and his foster families, and how that affects his relation to Jack, which is a subject that I'm not always fond of. The remix, however, makes this story interesting. The original story is "Old Enough" by Am-Cauh Yarkona. If you like stories dealing with Daniel and his foster families, "Old Enough" is a solid, good story with some nice scenes and no major flaws.

"Come Undone" by Raven

is the remix of old enough, and it has a slightly different structure and one added element, that gives it a dream-like feeling, leaving the reader lost and at the same time caught between the times. This, especially knowing the parallels to Daniel's life, really worked for me.

I don't mean to make "Old Enough" sound like the worse story, it's just not a subject that I'm interested in. You should definitely read it to see the differences though. "Come Undone" stands out, because of its structure and differences to the original.
