N3 Rec 'Numb3rs 1 through 30" by Jennamajig
Wonderful long story about Don and his relationship to Charlie, from when he was nine and Charlie does his math homework until their mother dies. I love how Jennamajig shows why Don made the choices he did make by simply telling his story. There is no deep analysis in here, no pseudo-explanations or exaggerations. It's simply the longer version of what the show has told us about Don, and by telling it the way she does, Jennymajig makes me love him even more than I already did. Especially because she manages to always show how much he is connected to his family, even in all the years he wasn't there.
