Seriously, do what makes you happy. I want you to know though, a couple months from now, do you see yourself regretting that you quit?
My sister, first year in marching band, quit. She couldn't cut it, she had no friends, she didn't play clarinet as well as any other kid, and she was behind. after she quit, she saw what kind of mistake she made in band, and joined back the next year. She always tells me. "I should've stayed in that year... I really should've" I don't want you to regret a decision that you made,I want you to be happy, I want you to be 100% content with quitting, because if you have a little sense of guilt, it's going to hurt worse in the long run. But if you don't, then quit :3 if thats what you truly want, quit.

Also - I've felt like a freshman for the past 3 years of my experience in marching band. 1st year I WAS a freshman, second year I played a new instrument. Third year I played a different variation of that instrument. This year is the first year that I actually FEEL like someone. So don't go crazy if people treat you like a N00b, it comes with every sport/thing you do, It's good to learn new things every season, you WANT to.

Colorguard drama D:< It's stupid! Don't pay attention to it, if you see people fighting - just laugh your ass off and do what you're supposed to do, you'll be complimented for doing what you're supposed to do (not for the LMAO though :\)

I want you to know that whatever you choose, I'll still be there for you, and I'll support your decision 100%. There's always time for you on my plate :3.
