waiting for the luau. we don't look very happy... we were'nt... we waited in line for an hour in the sun. the luau wasn't that great... too touristy. the show was pretty cool, but the food was eh.

one day we drove for about two hours for this place that was supposed to have awesome snorkeling spots. it did. didn't look like it really when we got there, but once you hit the water... wow.

jac, doing what she does best

ok, here's something i highly recommend: rent a mattress floaty, and take it to the beach (along with a few pina coladas) ;)

yeah, looks nice and relaxing... until the waves come and you eat shit. see my ass... yeah, so did the rest of the beach. at one point, jackie knocked her face on my head... resulting in a fat lip and one hell of a headache. haha, good times.

surf's up.

our journey home.....
ok, so we wake up early to catch our flight. apparently it was full, so they were offering this deal where if you give up your seat and take the next flight, they'd give you a $500 voucher. the catch? the next flight was at 10:00pm! jackie and i were so beat, so it didn't sound very appealing. buuut the more we thought about it, the more we considered. i finally convinced her, and we gave up our seats. $500 toward traveling is definitely worth one day of boredom. nevertheless, we spent ELEVEN HOURS in the terminal! i felt like tom hanks in that one movie. however, this was no LAX or new york airport... it was a random, tiny little terminal with not much to do. there were only two stores and a food court. i ate a lot that day. and read every magazine for the month of august.

there goes our flight...

jackie-lynn... guarding our louis'

there goes our plane...

haha, here's our little corner that we took over. luckily we had our beach mats and intertubes... so we made beds.

i was so bored and lazy... i kept taking this same picture at different points of the day...

i'm a spaz...

this guy was running laps for about 45 minutes: (?)

something was obviously funny...

hour #8:

freaky hippie woman who kept creeping closer to our corner...

booored...

getting darker...

and darker...

we finally made it back to L.A. after what seemed to be the longest flight ever.
no one wanted to pick us up at 6:00am, so we had to take a shuttle. we had no idea what we were doing.

still working on it...

two hours later, we crammed into this nasty van and drove for another hour dropping people off. fiiiinally made it home. showered... then crashed. i'd never been so tired. but now jackie and i have $500 each toward another vacation... stoked.
