Oh, LJ, how I have forsaken thee! No point trying to catch you all up, I suppose. I have been reading faithfully, I just don't seem to have so much time for posting these days. However, right now I have a baby asleep in my arms, so not exactly going anywhere. I should probably put her down, but she has a cold, and has been sounding a bit hoarse, and I've got croup-fear. So I'm not really in a hurry to put her down. You know what I mean.
Oh, and Lucien has pink-eye. Awesome. When I called the pediatrician yesterday, it took me two hours to get to a point where I could leave a message, and another 4 hours before they called me back. The nurse called me from a cell phone, and said their lines were completely tied up and their answering machine overflowing. When I told her it was pink eye, she said "good!" :) Because at least it was something they can deal with. At least it wasn't the flu.
And speaking of the flu - I finally decided to get the h1n1 vaccine for my kids, but it is proving difficult in practice. Honestly, I don't want to drive myself crazy with worry, but the hype is starting to wear on me. Do we have to hear about every single death? I'm going to start having panic attacks.
