I woke with a fever of 101 this morning. Awesome. Lucien was up during the night for the third night in a row with croup. Since he doesn't have a hoarse voice or stridor during the day, they won't let me give him some of the steroid medicine we have. I get that they don't want to overuse it, and he just had two doses a few weeks ago, but listening to him struggling and hysterical at 2 in the morning is not cool. I'm hoping that we are through the worst.
As for our grand plan to go out to dinner tonight for our anniversary - that still remains to be seen. Guess we'll see how we are all feeling by the end of the day.
