stories from a mall

Okay, so where do you all buy your clothes? I'm getting supremely frustrated with what is available. We went to the mall this evening to let the boy run off some steam. I saw that Lane Bryant had a bunch of sale racks, so I went to check it out in the hopes that I could find some tops that don't cling to every bit of fat on my body. But, their smallest size is too big for me. :( I mean, :), or maybe :(. Ack. The point is, it seems like all the clothes in regular sizes are designed to be form fitting, not made for busty, hip-ful mamas like me. So, seriously, where do you get your clothes?

Lucien was pretty funny wandering through the mall. There was a woman sitting on a bench watching him at one point, and she wasn't even cracking a smile. I was like, how can you possibly watch my beautiful child and not smile? Then he walked up to a "caution wet floor sign," pushed it over, and the woman cracked up. :)

I loaned my copy of Barbara Kingsolver's The Bean Trees to Renae, and since we've been talking about it I have been feeling the need to read something else of hers. So, I picked up Animal Dreams while we were out. Yay for new books!
