all the new in jackie's life
i'm really starting to like the new house. i still have trouble sleeping because there is no wall against the head of my bed and there's too much water in my bed... but otherwise everything's so darn cute and nice.
we moved all day saturday. saturday night i took my mom's new car out. me and carrie went to one of her friend's house and played a strange card game. then sara was home from myrtle beach so got her and went down to the creek near my old house. we ended up getting scared to death by either a goose, a moose, a dead person, a serial killer, or someone doing the nasty.
sunday i did a little more unpacking. sara came to help... sort of... and then we went and got my mom's car again. we went and got danielle and carrie and then it was off to dillsburg to get andrew from scott's house. meeting new people is always fun.
we then went out to eat at applebees. it was funny. sara shouted fairly loudly "i just saw a kid walk in that looked like harry potter" followed by me saying and pointing "you mean him?!" and then a lot of laughing. lots and lots of laughing. lack of sleep does crazy things to me.
naturally, afterwards we did a mini tour of camp hill ending at cornerstone. duh, where else? that place has a lot of stories attached to it. we ran into claire, santiago, and 2 of their friends. apparently they shouted at us in the parking lot... interesting. but whatever.
afterwards we ended up at carries, seeing as my house is full of boxes and does'nt have cable or vcr's or dvd players. lauren, will, wiley, and joe came over. we watched the lion king. i was wired on coffee and doing crazy things. i guess we were all pretty hyper at this point. lauren and sara dressed up in carrie's boots and book covers and whatnot. joe put on her rocky horror costume. all but the original 5 left around 11 (i'm guessing, i have to admit, i was having so much fun i don't think i checked my watch at all untill it was quarter to midnight) and we ended up watching aladdin for the awesomely amazing songs. then it was back to dillsburg so andrew could return to scott. i didn't get home until 1.
monday i went out with joe and wiley. we went to the mall for a wee bit. then we made stops at our houses so we could eat. then sara was off work so her and danielle met us at my hoiuse and we played badminton. at some point during the day i had called carrie and she said she would call back, but that didn't happen. but even if she did, i'm thinking a certain someone would have prevented us from getting her.
tuesday i did some more unpacking. then me sara wiley and joe went to isaac's for lunch. afterwards ethan and mike b met us at the elementary school to play four square. then i had practice. afterwards me joe wiley danielle and sara went to starbucks to get our double shot espresso's.
i went home around 10:30 because i missed carrie and wanted to call her.
i called carrie as soon as i got home. we talked on the phone for four whole hours. ok so not whole hours, because my phone kept cutting out on her, but still. it was fun. i enjoyed being able to discuss everything from harry potter to scary movies to crazy friends.
today i woke up around 11, watched tv, and now here i am at my mom's taking care of my poor baby vinny who is in heat. i have practice today at quarter to 6 so i can help lauren learn this crazy marching thing that even i don't get.
wow this is a long entry. but i guess that's what happens when you don't have a computer for 4 days.
