Everything is relative....

Things have improved since the 'worst Birthday to date'! Thankfully.

I must say, it did end up alright in the end. This is after I cleaned up the 'mess' (see post below), screwed up my ebay postings, had my favorite (and expensive!) clothes cabinet broken when Bryan slammed the door in a fit of rage at the asshole upstairs, took a temper myself after much frustration with people coming in and out, and the entire place smelling like a sewer. I'll have to post the result of my 'temper' later. I took a picture of the injury I sustained after I slammed the laundry closet door. My hand was pinched quite badly, thus a big blood blister formed and my hand swelled up and pained for quite some time:-(

When we were on our way to go to dinner (a nice buffet place down the street that is free on B-days), we found out that it had closed 'early'. At that time, all I could do was laugh at the entire ordeal, and things were better from then because I got to pig out at Spring Rolls, which is one of my fav places to eat anyway:P

Friday, things started to go right. Got up, went to the buffet place with Bryan (they gave me my free meal!), and then it was off with my parents to Kitchener to sign the Escalade papers. All went well, and the unit will be ordered on Monday. 8 weeks till it arrives! Cutting it close considering that the end of my lease is on June 30th....whew!

After the signing, I had my lil B-Day party. Had friends over for drinks, received some awesome gifts, and then it was off to the strip club. From that point on, things started getting pretty foggy, and the shots Julie and co. bought just put me right over the edge! I don't know exactly what happened, but Amber convinced me to get on the stage on top of her, and we were told to leave....haha! I remember trying to smuggle a beer outside, but it ended up dropping and spilling all over the floor instead.

I am one class act!

I managed to take another one....we waited for the others to emerge, and then somehow I found myself in a taxi. Sorry Julie, I have no idea what happened....
We ended up at Ambers place, where Bryan looked to be in bad shape, so we got a cab and booted it home just in time for him to get his head in the toilet....LOL!

I'm not sure how, but I managed to drunkenly cook something for myself....
A few hours later, woke up and was still very wasted....
Slept a bit longer and then woke up fine! Had to take care of poor Bryan though. I don't think he'll be doing shots anymore....
At about noon, my mom called about this truck we had to go see for the Escalade. Bryan managed to get up and running. The truck was beautiful....practically new (had the new car smell!)....but was more expensive than we had planned. However, it's more reliable, and just PERFECT in every way....we'll just lease to own it....might work out better in the long run!

I cannot wait to leave this place. I hope everything works out. Why is the lottery so hard to win? Why is money the only thing that can make this life run the way I want it to run? Why am I so damn materialistic?

I should be going to bed now to get some 'non alcohol induced slumber'.

A side note: I think cats have magical healing powers. When B was feeling horrible this morning, Mittens stayed by his side, and perched on his arm in bed....just purring his head off. B said it made him feel instantly better. I can attest to the same thing. When I'm sick, kitty knows it....doesn't leave your side and somehow makes everything alright:-)

Between Bryan, Mittens, and all that's up and coming....I feel I could be the richest girl on the planet after all....
<3

Goodnite everyone.
