ok so im really mad.
i tried to blog my nyc pictures on myspace and tom is a fucking moron and it didn't work due to some error. That shit is SO damn annoying. So I'm going to try it here:

New York was WAY better than I had thought it would be!! I had an amazing time and I LOVE it there!! ♥ ♥ ♥

Day 1- Aug 22
Roseann and I drove in and got to the city around 6:00. We ran and checked into the hotel, gave my car to valet so we didn't have to worry about parking for the next 3 days, then changed & started on our way to Joe's Pub to see Ben Jelen play. We got there literally exactly at the perfect time--the band was coming on as we were walking in. It was so small and intimate...perfect setting. We stood pretty close and I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY at him. He took my breath away. I was weak he was SOOOO amazing. I recorded "Come On" for Linda. After he was done playing we went backstage to say hi to him. While waiting I saw MARCUS MONROE walking by!! I stopped him and we talked for a minute. He is a doll. He's good friends with Ben and was there to see him. We told him we were in town from Michigan and came early to see Ben. He told us to make sure we tell Ben that!

Then we got to talk to Ben! He was super nice and thanked us for coming. We did what Marcus said and told him we drove in from Michigan and he was so pleased to hear it! He asked about the drive and we told him he was totally worth it!

After we left, Erica met up with us! We went down to Bleecker for the night. We Hung out @ The Village Lantern and watched Lauren Hunt play. She is so sweet and has an AMAZING voice. We went over to The Bitter End and talked with some of the bar managers for a bit and then we got to meet Joey DeGraw! He came outside to smoke and we talked to him for like 5 minutes. We also told him we were from Michigan and pulled out the "hand map" to geographically pin-point our cities! After Joey went back in we headed back to the subway and on our way to the hotel. After 10 hours of driving, Roseann and I were dead tired!

We got up and Linda met Roseann and I in the hotel lobby. We went back to the room, dropped her stuff off, then set out on an adventurous tourist day!

Then we left to meet Crystal at Penn Station, which is conveniently directly across the street from our hotel, Hotel Pennsylvania. Penn Station is also pretty much connected to Madison Square Garden, where Mariah Carey was playing that night.

So we went to the hotel and Erica met us all there, after Crystal's dyslexic directions! After she arrived, we hung out for a bit and then decided to set off to Bleecker St. early so we could get a table for Joey's show. But before we went to the bar, we HAD to stop at this place:

So this is where it allllll began:
We get to the Bitter End and got a table and ordered some drinks. Then looonggg story short, we find out Joey cancelled his gig for the night! After MANY texts, calls, and myspacing, we find out it is indeed true and Joey can't make it out. So we are ALL really upset. Summer had to go back to California the next day, and Crystal came in from upstate, Linda from Philly, and Ro and I from Michigan for JOEY! So Crystal went with Leslie and Maria to get some food at Slane as all of us girls hung around trying to figure out what to do. Summer ended up staying at the Lantern for a bit longer with her friends, but not before a few pictures!

Then we all went and got some pizza at the pizza place Adam Sandler loves..there's one in LaGuardia airport that Angi and I went to last time in NYC. Erica dound some detergent in the bathroom and we started getting tired so we headed back to the hotel. We said goodbye to Erica and then got to our room and crashed!
Day 3-August 24
Crystal had to catch her train early so she left us around 9am :( Linda, Roseann and I got up and showered and decided to start the day out at the Statue of Liberty. We took the subway there and then the ferry to the island.

Day 4-August 25
Departure day :( Linda and Erica decide to go see John Mayer at Rockafeller Center. Ro and I think he sucks, so we slept in! It was a 8am concert!! So Linda got back to the hotel around 10am or so and we decide to go uptown once more before going back home.

Then we left to meet Crystal at Penn Station, which is conveniently directly across the street from our hotel, Hotel Pennsylvania. Penn Station is also pretty much connected to Madison Square Garden, where Mariah Carey was playing that night.

So we went to the hotel and Erica met us all there, after Crystal's dyslexic directions! After she arrived, we hung out for a bit and then decided to set off to Bleecker St. early so we could get a table for Joey's show. But before we went to the bar, we HAD to stop at this place:

So this is where it allllll began:
We get to the Bitter End and got a table and ordered some drinks. Then looonggg story short, we find out Joey cancelled his gig for the night! After MANY texts, calls, and myspacing, we find out it is indeed true and Joey can't make it out. So we are ALL really upset. Summer had to go back to California the next day, and Crystal came in from upstate, Linda from Philly, and Ro and I from Michigan for JOEY! So Crystal went with Leslie and Maria to get some food at Slane as all of us girls hung around trying to figure out what to do. Summer ended up staying at the Lantern for a bit longer with her friends, but not before a few pictures!

Then we all went and got some pizza at the pizza place Adam Sandler loves..there's one in LaGuardia airport that Angi and I went to last time in NYC. Erica dound some detergent in the bathroom and we started getting tired so we headed back to the hotel. We said goodbye to Erica and then got to our room and crashed!
Day 3-August 24
Crystal had to catch her train early so she left us around 9am :( Linda, Roseann and I got up and showered and decided to start the day out at the Statue of Liberty. We took the subway there and then the ferry to the island.

Day 4-August 25
Departure day :( Linda and Erica decide to go see John Mayer at Rockafeller Center. Ro and I think he sucks, so we slept in! It was a 8am concert!! So Linda got back to the hotel around 10am or so and we decide to go uptown once more before going back home.
