ANYWAY Kid on the TenTen cast (sh-shit, Bob commented to me yesterday and I COMPLETELY missed the notification. SORRY BOB). He's only seen Bob in passing, so there's no opinion there. Bunshichi had a negative impression at first, but then he fixed up the hole and made it pretty and relatively symmetrical, so he can't be that bad! he's just a lunatic on a bike but at least he understands aesthetics. ): Aya pings him as someone nice that he'd like to talk with more.

Masataka and Maya are people that he actually likes. Kid has varying degrees of like and hate -- he doesn't really hate anyone, per ce! He is actually my SECOND NICEST CHARACTER, it's really funny. But while he doesn't hate anyone, he does take a bit to go from "acquaintance with a varying degree of like" to "someone he'd consider a friend of sorts." Masataka and Maya fall into that latter category. Masataka is someone that Kid finds very easy to get along will. He'll put up with his OCD bullshit, he understands symmetry!!111, and he's very open with information about camp and offered him a place to stay! Kid does like intelligent conversation, and he gets that out of Masataka.

With Maya, it's more ... mm, a sort of respect, I'd say. The fact that she is TINY doesn't really mean much to him, since Soul Eater canon has all sorts of crazy shit. It's the soul that counts! He's impressed that she's already questioning things, looking into stuff, taking initiative, etc etc. And she has a good sense of humor! She's also relatively easy for him to talk to.

MAYA LIKES KID. She thinks he's very interesting--she finds the fact that he's a shinigami an interesting tidbit to a world of possibilities. She's going to talk to him about how he fights etc because this is the sort of thing Maya's into. And if she can/after she sees him fight, she's going to see if she can ask him to help her train pepole by opposing parts of the Jyuukenbu. But if he doesn't want to do that, that's cool too, he's probably at the right height to give rides and stuff for the next three weeks. And he's a good person to talk to. |D

Hahahaha god. WELL Kid won't fight with weapons without Liz AND Patty here (and I thiiiiink Liz is getting apped soon? ANOTHER VIOLENT WOMAN, SOB), but he's been shown to fight without, so if Maya gives him a good reason, he probably would. This would require me figuring out how he fights exactly, but translations for that chapter just came out. It looks something like this and this when he's pushed. ish. or something. ALSO HE DOESN'T MIND RIDES, tinymaya seems symmetrical, this is satisfactory. :|d
