A lot of people may think that Kid is only over emotional and pathetic but he's more than that.
Kid is quite sophisticated, going as far as to dress in a tux like outfit everyday. He talks in a very formal matter; saying things such as "Father" instead of "Dad" or speaking out contractions most of the time. Like saying "I am" instead of "I'm". He also has a very nice, clean house and he admires beautiful art. Be it as it may the art is symmetrical.
He is really sophisticated but he's also just a kid! He does things such as he goes and plays basketball with his pals. And he's quite good at it. He also loves to skateboard. If he's on a mission and he can find a reason to show off on Beezlebub, he will. He also is really easy to upset. If he sees something upsetting, such as his symmetry is off or if he does something dumb, he will go into a spiraling depression stating things such as "I am garbage! I don't deserve to live!". But, it's just as easy to cheer him up as it is to upset him. Such as if you say something like "You're not garbage Kid! Garbage is gross and you're not!", he'll most likely get over what he was previously upset about.
Kid is also very courageous in a sense. For example, when his father and Asura were having a great battle between gods, his father was defeated kind of quickly. Now, a normal person would be shit scared of Asura after witnessing their own father be practically killed by him. Especially if their father was the most powerful being known to man. But Kid is no normal person. Oh no. He solemnly stood up and followed right after Asura; with full intentions of killing him. Another example of his courage is during his battle with Asura. He was going to use this giant move that would supposedly cost his life. He very well knew the consequences but he used it anyway.
Another thing about Kid is that he doesn't really want people to think of him as better than them. He wants them to think of him on the same level as them. It's one of the reasons why he joined Shibusen in the first place. He tries to stay on the same level as them by not using his most powerful moves when fighting another Shibusen student.
One more thing about Kid is that he loves symmetry. A lot. It's one of the main reasons that make him have mental breakdowns.
[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] :
Strengths:
1. He is very strong and courageous.
2. He cares for his friends a lot and will stand at nothing to protect them. (May also be a weakness since he can die protecting them)
3. He can talk to people easily and he negotiates well.
4. He can coordinate parties.
5. He's good at speeches.
6. He's intelligent.
7. He's a god.
8. He keeps things neat and tidy so it's not easy to lose things.
Weaknesses:
1. Symmetry. He can't harm anything that is perfectly symmetrical.
2. As previously stated, he will stop nothing to protect his friends which can lead to death.
3. He over-analyzes things.
4. He gets upset easily.
5. He gets easily distracted. Such as when he was on his way to go find Liz and Patti in the Anubis, he saw an adorable cat-like things and stopped to marvel at it's beauty.
6. He can't use only one weapon.
7. He's pretty stubborn.
8. And he's pretty headstrong.
[ Other Important Facts ] :
He's a reaper so he's a lot stronger than he would be. He can also do different skills like summon his skateboard and call his father using some...Skull holograph thingy. Also, the three lines in his hair are power limiters and he can make them connect to increase his power. This, however, takes up a lot of stamina.
[ Sample ] :
He opens his eyes. The scene in front of him was blurred. His left side was cold. It seems he was laying on his side on cement. He sits up blearily and rubs his eyes. A gasp escapes from his throat as he sees the world around him. He was in an underwater city. It was definitely not what he was expecting to wake up to. Is this...Another chapter? He stands up and brushes himself off. There were giggles. People around him were laughing...at him? He finds a reflective surface and frowns. It was no wonder they were laughing at him. The right side of his face was drawn on. Only the right side. He ripped off his left sleeve, for the right one was already ripped off, and wipes off the felt marker. Surprisingly, it came off pretty easily.
He turns around to find somewhere to dispose of the ruined sleeve and gasps again. In front of him was a giant coral. It was beautiful. He drops the sleeve in astonishment and slowly walks towards it, mystified. However, that only lasts a second. The corners of his mouth turn down into a frown and his eyebrows furrow.
"That's just disgusting."
The shell was completely asymmetrical. Asymmetry was something this boy would not stand for. He had no mercy for it, no love for it, nothing. It was disgusting. Fowl. Nauseating. There were so many horrid words that went with asymmetry for this boy. He scoffs and turns around, unable to look at the shell anymore.
He wanders around, fondly regarding the town's architecture. It was simply gorgeous. Very nice. Very tidy. Very symmetrical. Very perfect. This made him only wonder though, why would he be sent into a utopia when he was being held captive? Surely the Book of Eibon didn't have anything like this. Or maybe it did? He didn't really want to think about that though. Because wherever he was, it wasn't hell. And he was glad for that.
