When the alarm went off at ten, Mohinder had extricated himself from Sylar and made his way inside to turn it off. He came back to make sure the other man was still asleep, tucking him in and rewarded himself for getting up by going to have a nice, long shower

"Mm-hm." Mohinder had alternated between stroking Gabriel and stroking the cat. "And you have a Mo asleep on the back of the couch behind your head. I even convinced her not to bite or chew on you at all while you slept."

"Me? I'm fine." He bent his head to kiss Gabriel's brow softly. "How do you feel? Better?"

"So am I. And I still love you and I'm still here as well." He kissed the same spot again.

"Darker ones on the bed. Otherwise... I'm not worried. The important part is you in it."

"I like blues and greens. Ocean colours... I miss the ocean, you know. In Chennai, we lived on the beach."

He hadn't thought of it. "That sounds absolutely beautiful. Would you mind that scheme?"

"We could just paint the walls the colours of the sea, fade them up into navy and blue gray. With the curtains and light carpet, or polish the floorboards pale?"
