Went on strike, got a cold.
so yeah, my employers suck and tried to call our bluff. well, now did they really know who they were messing with? no. monday i didn't go to work, neither did anyone else. cept one punk jason. i really am having a hard time liking him. he's one of those stupid republicans who kept bitchin about kerry "flip-floping". what did jason do, bitch went to work after all of us (him too) signed a letter and told our bosses to give us a mo-fo raise. jason even went to the school newspaper first to give them the scoop. just before we thought the strike thing he gave his two week notice, then took it back. i now will call him flipper. rather call him fucker but he's mormon and may cry.
i'm a little bitter...sorry, getting over a cold. ima little grumpy.
on to better topics. we got a raise, 30%. still less than the devil (sorenson) but hey, it's still better. hopefully i can save up more money for summers this way.
i just finished a book "the way of the peaceful warrior" for class. now i gotta write a paper on it. kinda book reportish, i know. i tried really hard to not like the book but damn it i can't. it's actually really good. jannelle, if you want me to add it to your package let me know. it actually makes me want to be a better person, or some shit like that...smile. it may take a while. took the guy in the book 11 years so i got time right?
