[This is it. Ever since she was taken, Keiichi has been watching the journals at every waking minute basically, waiting for the inevitable return. Hoping that the first thing he would hear from this woman wouldn't be something to worry about. But of course that couldn't be.

He recognizes the edge in the voice. The lack of sense. Though maybe he's just judging her wrongly because part of him did expect her to return on a critical stage. Part of him still hopes that no one will get to her before she kills herself out of madness. But it's only a small part and as much as he dislikes her, he can't turn around at her now, even if he will probably come to regret it.]

Yelling won't reach them. Just calm down.

[The sound of Keiichi's voice just makes Takano glower at her thrown journal, backing away from it as if she were expecting Keiichi to pop out of it with a bat in his hand.]

[He doesn't know if that's the paranoia or just Takano being herself, honestly. After all they know that the journals are watched and all.]

Even if they watch, they aren't physically there, and they may choose to ignore to watch you yelling at them. It's not as if they are right behind you at every moment or anything.

[At the moment, her scratching isn't nearly frantic enough to tear through her skin, yet -- all it's doing is serving to redden it, at the moment. Keiichi would have to lower his run down to a leisurely stroll in order for her to hit the point of actually causing serious damage to herself, thankfully. ... Well, thankfully for her, anyway.]

Maybe, but noticing it isn't changing it! Action needs to be taken! We have all these so-called "heroes" here, but they aren't doing anything very heroic, are they? [At this point, her voice is slowly starting to sound further and further away. [You're still a child, Takano. The woman he saw that day, covered with mud and crawling over the ground under a heavy rain, trying to pull papers from under the boots of soldiers who were aiming their weapons at them, wasn't an adult. It was a child with an adult body. Back then he had felt something close to pity, even if he still saw her as an enemy, he had wanted to believe that Tomitake was right and could save her.

[He increases the pace. If she gets too far from the journal he may take even longer to find her. He needs her to stay there, but of course, she won't listen. Why would she listen to him? Still he runs.]

[When he calls her again he stops for a moment, having heard his own voice

[Takano hasn't moved too far from where she had thrown her journal -- only a yard or so away, really. She now stands in front of a rather large oak tree, simply staring up at it.

Although she hears Keiichi calling her, she doesn't respond. Not that she's ignoring him -- her "being called" doesn't seem to be even processing.]

[Action] - Minato comes after this

[Keiichi closes the journal and ignores the one on the ground, there are more important things than to bother with that one. And it's probably a good thing since that way he will miss a certain someone having talked to Takano, not that he needs to see it to doubt Bernkastel more.

Anyway, the boy focuses on finding the woman, briefly looking at Minato to make sure that he's there and ready. Honestly, he doesn't know how to go about this but... First they need to get to her.]
