(no subject)
So. First time celebrating the Fourth of July. The fireworks were (are!) definitely a big deal, not so much limited to public areas. Seems to be a lot of private folks setting them off. I might be mistaken, but they sound like they're all coming from Prospect Park, so there you have it.
Brooklyn takes their fireworks quite seriously.
I have grown inexplicably fond of the F line (with some stops in particular, usually the ones where everyone transfers and leaves my car empty) and of the Chelsea/Flatiron districts. (Of course school falls dead in between the two.)
It appears I'll have to return back home for a year, and my visa should be available to me next summer, at which point I will move down here permanently.
I have auditions, this week and after. The experience will be fantastic. Job would be awesome, but just the experience is a great start.
Going back home is going to be brutal. At least there's an end in sight.
