a little update
I'm sitting here on the 8th floor of the MLK library... trying to convince myself that doing my Measurement and Evaluation lab early would be better than having to do it tonight, and yet here I am distracting myself (I tend to be good at that). In my staring out of the library window I can literally see nothing but fog and a building that's close by. I haven' seen this much fog in awhile...
On another note than my fog observation... Life is as usual on the crazy side. After overrating my spine in an unhealthy fashion I'm a little sore and feel like I'm walking like a 90-year-old woman. Yet, I still get to press on and find a way to work because money makes the world go round.
The moving storage unit will hopefully have a lot of progress made this weekend... my whole weekend gets to be devoted to moving, but I'm hoping that there will be a huge dent made in the amount of stuff we need to move because we only have 2 more weekends to get it done. From what I saw unloaded last night (no I didnt lift anything but I did get to hold flashlights to provide light while people unloaded large granite slabs) at least I know there is no more granite that needs to be lifted. With every truck load progress is made and I know it will get done. It's just one of those projects taht jsut seems to fucking big that there's no way it can seriously get completed... but to move a mountain you must start with one stone.
On other school notes: I'm reaching the point in the semester where I get to start prepping for exams (oh yay!). My first actual exam is a week from Thursday (Biomechanics) then another one on the following Tuesday (nutrition). I'm glad this isn't one of those semesters where every exams is like on one day and all projects are due the same day. At least it's somewhat spaced out.
In the dance world, I have a show coming up in november and the 3 solos I'm working on are all almost done. It's been like a cram session for choreography because I want longer time to polish it all. This show there is an actual dress rehearsal which means I have to think about costuming sooner than later...
