I'm sitting at my desk bored out of my mind. The big boss just had her party that was a hit. There was sangria, cubans, black beans and green beans. Not to mention two different kinds of cakes. Now I'm ready for a nap. :( I'm waiting for someone to call me so I can get busy and pass this dreadful day. Some exciting news though. I brought tickets for Josh and I to see...
Death Cab for Cutie. The first thing I did was call my twin and left a really obnoxious voicemail telling her I get to go see them and she doesn't. The show is October 30th and I told my boss I would definately be coming in late the following day. She said it was no problem for great music. She happens to like Postal Service and didn't realize that Benjamin Gibbard was with DCFC. Nor had she even heard of DCFC. So since I'm really nice, I let her borrow my DCFC cd in my office and she loved it. Who knows, she may be at the show, too.
Today I have officially done completed 22 days of my training. I didn't make it up this morning so I'll have to hit the pavement this evening. Lately with the evening thunderstorms I have had to run in the dark. It really sucks but one can see my determination. Even after going out to dinner, I put on my running gear and ran at 9pm. Sure, I would have loved to have been in a horizontal position cathing Las Vegas but the big 25 is around the corner and I can't be a fatty for my big day.
