(no subject)
Yesterday was Josh's 25th birthday. He's such an old man. ;) When he got home, my sister had prepared this wonderful dinner and my little brothers helped me paint our bedroom. I think he was surprised. The new room color evokes memories from our honeymoon in Key West. In fact, I woke up this morning and for a second thought I was there. Bummer it was a feeling only for a second.
I just got back from dropping my sister off at the airport. She went back to Oxford today. :( I only had yesterday to spend with her but we got spend a little time today together before she left. Josh and I tried to convince her to move back for a few months before she decides what grad school to go to but she wouldn't budge. She thinks Florida is not progressive or interesting enough for her. It's definately not a big city but I've got a lot of family here, which makes it nice. Over our cafe con leche and cubans she was telling me this.
This was kinda an exciting week in that my older sister finally tied the knot to her very long-time boyfriend. They went to Vegas, along with my parents and we watched the whole ceremony online. So my parents have officially married off two of the three females in the family. Mary is the last one to go but I think is very content with her current situation. She has a lot of freedom right now in being single so Kudos to her for not jumping on the marriage band wagon.
