Jim Butcher, The Aeronaut’s Windlass - quite good, B-
Laura Lippmann, After I’m Gone - very good, B+
Casey Watson, A Stolen Childhood, very troubling, B+
Elizabeth Haynes, Under A Silent Moon - quite good, B
Patricia Cornwell, Depraved Heart, not much story, C
Ruby Ferguson, For Every Favour, the life story of a butler, a bit depressing, I guess it might appeal to more cynical Downton fans, B
Josephine Tey, To Love And Be Wise, not her best, B; Miss Pym Disposes - now, this one is brilliant, A+
Glenn Taylor, The Ballad Of Trenchmouth Taggart - I liked this, but some of his encounters felt a bit forced/obvious, B
Rosy Thornton, More Than Love Letters, quite good but it felt rather dated, B-
Carrie Vaughn, Kitty And The Dead Man’s Hand - quite enjoyable,
Harlan Coben, The Stranger - fell a bit flat for me, C
Lois McMaster Bujold, Gentleman Jole And The Red Queen - a lovely return to her world which I enjoyed reading, engagingly written, but not much plot/conflict, A-
P C Hodgell, Honor’s Paradox - very good instalment, although again the plot didn’t progress much, A-
Jude Morgan, A Little Folly - pretty good Austen-lite, B
