Oh, hello. :D First post here. I hope to write a lot for this community~
Title: Never Look At The Sun
Universe: Bewailing.
Characters: Felix Langley, Ciel Mayes.
Word Count: 137.
Rating: PG.
Summary: He can't help her, because it was he that hurt her all along.
Notes: ...Please let this be understandable without the aid of very much context. I fail and can write nothing but very tiny drabbles. ;_;
She’s fading again.
She clings to him like she has nothing else, as if she’s drowning. “Help me,” she cries, tears streaming down her face. “Help me.”
But there is so little he can do. He holds her in his arms and shields all that’s left of her from the pervasive light of morning, fights her fears because no one else can.
And how ironic, he thinks, that she would seek the aid of the boy who destroyed her. She doesn’t remember, but he does. He is far from a hero, and he knows this better than anyone.
She clings tighter to him still, begging, pleading. “Help me...”
He can do nothing else. He lies.
“I believe in you.”
Out of the corner of his eye, he watches as another inch of her body disappears into nothingness.
