Atwood family reunion
Here's a thought I had about the Atwoods. What if something happens that brings them all together? I'm talking Ryan, Dawn, Trey, and Frank Atwood.
Maybe something like Dawn is getting remarried, to her boyfriend Ron, so she calls Ryan to invite him, and Trey of course is also invited (maybe Dawn got Trey's location in L.V. from Ryan sometime earlier). But there's a hitch: Dawn and Frank Atwood never legally got divorced, so she has to do that first. Let's say she inquires about his whereabouts and finds out that he's been released on parole. Perhaps there could be all kinds of family angst with Dawn trying to get a divorce and her husband gives her a hard time, so Ryan and Trey get involved, etc.
Could have a happy ending with Dawn's remarriage and some kind of reconciliation among Dawn/Ryan/Trey. Or could have a sad ending, with everyone hurting everyone else and lots of dirty laundry aired, with no resolution to anything.
