Seth and Ryan were switched at birth.
This my 1st entry. I hope I do this right, if I don't let me know.
Set at the beginning, Season 1. Instead of Ryan getting arrested he comes to live with the Cohens because it is discovered that Seth and Ryan were switched at birth. Dawn abandons Ryan when she finds out and isn't interested in Seth or more than 2 babies were switched and Seth is the biological son of a third couple.
I was thinking what would the Cohens reaction to finding out Seth wasn't their biological son be and how would they respond to finding out that their biological child was being raised in an abusive situation.
Alternate
Set after Season 1, 2 or 3. It is discovered that Seth and Ryan were switched at birth or that more than 2 babies were switched with Ryan being the biological son of Sandy and Kirsten and Seth being the biological son of a third couple.
How would they react to finding out after being Ryan's guardians for 1 or more years that he was actually their biological son.
How would Ryan react? How would Seth? How would Caleb and Newport react?
