Some of wat i left out yesterday... I swear i'm an insomniac
Thomas on the other hand was a skinny little boy who stood about 5’11, blonde hair, blue eyes, wouldn’t hurt a fly type of guy. I’m sure you’ve all seen enough T.V. shows to get a general picture of Thomas. It’s always amazing the things that Thomas won’t do cause he believes that it’s some how dangerous, but somehow the two fit perfectly at least till our sophomore year of college when they announced they were no longer a couple, and the only closure they would give us was “It’s just time to try something new.” Confusing the issue even more because they’re still inseparable and still best friends.
“I know you hate it when I say that,” Jonathan answered “that’s why I say it; that and the fact that I’ve never know any two people to have been together for over six years not to have been married, but whatever I’ll leave you alone.”
Lightening continued to provide the entertainment a flash here followed in close precession by a boom from its counterpart.
“I still think man should take a long hard look at what we are becoming and how even though we try our best to destroy this world nature prevails and when it finally decides to seek it’ revenge. Well let’s just say I hope I’ve passed on by then.” Thomas commented trying to divert Jen’s attention from Jonathan. “What do you think Kat? You’ve been awfully quiet over there.”
“Me? Oh I think I’m getting wet and we should go inside.” Was my only response I really hated lightening and they knew it but it had never crossed their minds.
That was Marissa’s cue to make some slick comment and she was right on top of it “I forgot that you don’t like storms, you big baby, but what should I expect from a boy named Katherine.” She smiled and gave me a kiss on my forehead.
“Don’t kiss me,” I hissed, “I know where those lips have been and I’ll be damned if I want what ever he has.”
“Cute.” Was all she managed to say.
“Ok you two love birds stop bickering or we’ll put Kat in a time-out and Marissa we’ll tell your big sister and neither of you want that.” Jonathan stated.
“I’m not afraid of my sister!” Snapped Marissa.
“Well I am” I said “and I’m still getting wet, so if you don’t mind can we star back to our dorms?”
“Okay, okay, stop your crying we’re leaving.” Jonathan said taking charge over the situation. Which is what tried to do best and he was good at it unless there was a lot of pressure, in that case he was useless.
It was quickly becoming dark and with every streak of lightening the lamppost would flicker, a few would stay off, but for the most part the road we were on was well lit. The wind was also beginning to pickup you could see the newly planted trees along the walkway clinging to the grounds with all their strength. The grass was waving, it reminded me of ocean waves only green. We had walked a little more than halfway up the hill in front of Jones Hall where we stayed when a strong gust caught me off guard, lifted me off my feet, and sent me tumbling down the hill. When I finally stopped rolling I was completely off the hill and back on the road with Marissa standing right next to me.
She was asking me questions. “Are you okay? Anything hurting? Bleeding? Look at me.”
I looked at her questionably “Who are you?” I asked. “And why are you asking me all these questions?”
“Shut-up Kat,” she said. “You had me worried that was an awful fall you could’ve gotten seriously hurt. Don’t do it again.”
“I’m sorry, next time I’ll make sure the wind doesn’t blow. Cause I have control over the wind blowing me down a mountain. I replied sarcastically.
Marissa smile and helped me up. I looked around saw Thomas and Jen staggered on the hill Jen up about where I had fallen and Thomas in between Jen and us, I noticed just how far I had fallen, luckily nothing was severely hurt. OWW! Spoke too soon. My right ankle was shooting such intense pain to my head I almost collapsed. Luckily Marissa was holding me up. We fought the wind till we had reached Thomas, by this time Jen had come down and the three of them helped me into the building. Jonathan had gone to open the door and called the campus medic and to him to come to room 14 in the south wing. It was Thomas and my room and luckily it was the closest. Jen laid me on the couch and Marissa was kneeling next to me still talking to me trying to take my mind off the pain, when Jonathan went to take off my shoe.
Marissa shouted. “No one touch that shoe we need to leave it on so his ankle doesn’t swell up like a watermelon. John run and bring him a bag of ice, Jen an ace bandage, and Tom find that damn medic. Your going to be fine Kat, hear me, just fine.”
“Marissa I just sprained my ankle I’m not dying.” I managed to say through clenched teeth.
“The way you screamed when you took that first step I’m not so sure your not dying.” She joked.
probably posting more later never know unless i get some sleep.
Thank you and goodnight
