Irritation and boredom
Ok, here's the thing. I was awakened this morning around 10:30am after I had gone to bed around 4am today. What woke me up? The fucking irritating smoke alarm on the 3rd floor of our house. In fact, it's right between the hall bathroom and the air duct. Now it's a very annoying noise that unrelentingly tries to kill your eardrums unless you can either deal with it or lower the volume some how. Now Lisa said that she smelled smoke, however, I don't know if that's true because we didn't find anything around the house that was on fire, smoking or anything suspicious at all. It just decided to trip or something. So, after calling my parents to figure out what to do, I ended up having to use the process of elimination on the circuit breaker to ultimately turn off the alarm by cutting power to the 3rd floor. That finally made it shut the fuck up. God that thing needs to be replaced with a more reliable unit that won't decide to go off for no apparent reason. Not to mention the fact that our house is a fucking fire trap. I'm kinda surprised that we haven't died a horrible, fiery death yet.
Now with the crisis averted, I am pretty damn bored. Anybody want to bother to hang out with me today or Sunday? If so, then comment or call me. There are plenty of options.
On another note, if we're going to do the Exalted cosplay, then I think we should look over the costumes and make a list of some materials that we could use to construct them. I'm talking about everything. Weapons, clothes, and anything else that's involved in this. Then we can go about buying and collecting what we need to assemble the costumes. Just my 2 cents, but an important idea anyway. Talk to ya later.
