this is how all of my conversations went with customers today:
me: hi! what can i get for you?
customer: is this still tropical smoothie?
me: no, we just converted. we're aj's cafe now. we still have the same stuff, though.
customer: oh. why did you convert?
me: i really don't know.
customer: oh, do you have a different owner?
me: no, it's the same guy.
customer: the little cop guy?
me: yes, that would be him.
customer: oh. so do you still have smoothies?
me: yes. we have the same everything, it just has a different name.
customer: oh, good. what about food? is that the same menu?
me: YES. EVERYTHING IS STILL THE SAME.
customer: oh, alright.
OH MY GODDDDDDDD. the first few customers asking me that didn't really bother me, but after the 20th time, it got really old. and ken got on my nerves, as usual. he left a little early today, so it was alright. david and i celebrated by playing MASH. his predicted that he was going to marry nicole, and mine predicted that i was marrying gerard way. heck yes.
anyway. i dropped off all of my applications today, and i got interviewed at applebee's. the manager told me she'd call me back later tonight and set up a second interview with the main manager or something for tomorrow. all of the people were really nice to me and all talked to me, so i think it would be fun working there. except that i saw that one girl that comes into the trop that i'm kind of rude to because she is annoying works there and she kind of gave me a dirty look. but whatev.
i finally saw 'million dollar baby' the other night and it was sooooo good! i think i might buy it. i returned it tonight and rented 'crash,' and 'the upside of anger.' so we'll see how those are.
kenzie can finally give you kisses, but she does it with her mouth open and that's disgusting. hunter did that too. i guess they don't quite get the concept.
