Basically this is just a rant about my the goings on in my life right now. Primarily FINALZ! and NEW APARTMENT! and BROKEN BONES! because I'm bored and though I'd like to say I have nothing better to do, I really, really do. This is how I'm avoiding it for the time being. Feel free to ignore, this is unusually long and rantish :P
So it's finally finals week (which is both D: and :D cause I get to go home sooooon!) And I'm bout to pop a cap in a muthafucka. And by 'a muthafucka' I mean my extensive amounts of homework. And by 'pop a cap in' I mean 'do'. I'm well on my way!! 8/10 costume renderings complete, and the final two drawn but not inked or colored.
Doing Shakespeare's Titus Andronicus 1920's style with the Romans as the Italian Mafia and the Goths as the Irish Mob. It's hardcore. This play is a bloody revenge death mayhem fest of violence and crazy goodness with no moral value whatsoever! Like, I actually had trouble coming up with a main idea, just cause it has literally no morals. It's so great. Shakespeare is my homeboy. He even makes an I fucked yo mama joke:
Chiron - Thou hast undone our mother.
Aaron - Villain, I have done thy mother.
I LOL'd. Aaron is like, awesome villain o' doom. I love the outfit I gave him too, he looks badass. And I based him off of Taye Diggs, so, hawt also. BTW I like to cast people in roles when I draw their costumes. Usually they're not even actors.
Demetrius and Chiron (Princes of the Goths, who are generally horrid people) = GWay and Mikey fuckin Way
Tamora (Queen of the Goths) = Famke Janssen AKA Jean Grey from X-Men and Ava from S2 Nip/Tuck.
Titus (General for Roman Army) = Malcolm McDowell <3 AKA Alex from A Clockwork Orange and Linderman from Heroes.
The Emperor Saturninus = Brian Haner Jr. LOL.
Lavinia (Titus's daughter) = Evan Rachel Wood AKA Lucy from Across the Universe.
Lavinia looks fuckin badass if I do say so myself. So far anyway. And by badass I mean sad, bleeding, and "ravaged" looking (because Chiron and Demetrius raped her then cut out her tongue and cut off her hands cause they're fuckin douchebags).
Also we looked at our new apartment for next year and it looks adorable! My current roommate Kyle is still being a Mecha Bitch and I'm looking foreward to not having to deal with her :D
But I wasn't able to get an appointment to get a cast for like, almost 3 weeks after I broke it, so it's still in a splint. I think that's pretty fucked up, haha, but whatevz. They suck.
