Movie Reviews + Picture Meme (M. Shadows)
So me and my parents went to the movies and Red Lobster this evening, it was good times. We saw:
Taking Woodstock: Seriously fantastic, adorable, funny, my kind of movie all over. Like. Whoa. Lets see: Demetri Martin! Jeffrey Dean Morgan! Emile Hirsch! Liev Schrieber dressed as a woman! Ang Lee! Danny Elfman! Woodstock! Awesome music! Gay! Acid! How can you go wrong with this? Answer: you can't. It's awesome.
Though I failed to see Damian Kulash :( this upset me greatly. I was told he looked like Jesus. Anyone know where in the movie he was?
Anyway, I recommend it highly!
500 Days of Summer: Didn't really look like my kinda deal. But I was like, I love Marc Webb, his music videos are awesome, and Zooey Deschanel is adorable, and I like that one guy who was in 10 Things I hate About You. So, you know, how bad can it be? I liked it OK, it was pretty cute and sort of unexpected. Very indie-y. Though it did drag a bit. I really liked the part where he was so happy he broke out into song and dance with the people in the street (very Helena dance sequense :D). Oh and I squeed at the Pixies, because I'm cool. I also liked the random interludes that were like black and white movies, it reminded me of Amelie. So yeah, it was pretty good. Not as good as Woodstock though :P
