It's just so awesomely delicious, because Star Trek can come up with some pretty convenient ways of fixing whatever-went-wrong-this-time. But like... it gets fixed by orgasms. It could be the fact that it's midnight right now, but that's the most awesome idea I've ever read.

Star Trek is possibly the only fandom where you can just do that, make up stuff just to get it to work in your fic, and it's supported by canon. It's just another thing on the long list of reasons why this fandom is awesome.
