Sheep and sunshine

It's been sunny and warm for the last couple days here, and the Irish are treating it like an Easter miracle. Certainly it's been very nice, I actually even have a bit of a sun burn on my neck, and expect to get more tanned after Tuesday, when I'm flying to Spain ( Read more... )

soooo proud of you Olivia. Sounds like you're taking FULL advantage of being overseas and that you're treating it as the major opportunity that it is in terms of learning and cultural exploration.

I look forward to hearing more about your adventures and am relieved to have heard that you're safe and sound in Scotland.

While you're busy travelling I'm in domestic mode - washing windows, doing yardwork, scrubbing toilets, and preparing to select paint colours. Thank goodness Scott and I are taking off for Mount Waddington in a week (the highest peak in BC). We'll be base camping for just under 2 weeks after getting helicoptered in (and hopefully back out). Still some skiing, mountaineering, and play time to be had!

Hey!

I loved the sheep when I spent time in Ireland and Wales, they were the best ever. It was fun to see them again when I got back to the UK. Aren't the lambs the cutest things alive??

I just got home from Copenhagen, and Jess and I hung out and rode our bikes and got samosas today, and we were talking about you and Molly, so I thought I'd check in. It's good to hear that the trip is still going well. Take care, and I hope you're enjoying Spain!

Lots of love,
Melissa.

PS, I totally agree, about the cities? London was great, but little tiny Scarborough was my favorite part about the England trip. And I took a short trip out to the moors - real English countryside. Cities are the sameish everywhere, the country's where it's at. (-liss)
