culture

Well well well, I am now cultured. This is because today I went to the Andy Warhol museum. Oh yes, Sara and I went today and got two for one admission. Then we took the elevator to the 7th floor which is where you're supposed to start where there was this crazy exhibit by these three Canadian guys called General idea on Aids and stuff because I think they were all gay and two of them died of aids. Anyway, it was seriously crazy, there were like a million pictures of totally naked men with partially or fully erect penises. And three cartoon fornicating poodles in a whole bunch of different positions. Fascinating. Then we went down to the sixth floor and saw a bunch of Andy Warhol's stuff, which was really exciting. Then we went down to the 5th floor at sat on the huge foam mattress that's been carved out to have little seat/bed/nest things that you can hang out in. We stayed there for about an hour and then went to this crazy room with big floaty silver pillow type things that were propelled around the room by fans. Then the museum was closing so we quickly peeked at all the other rooms on our way out, than popped into the gift shop and got a T-shirt. Yay for culture!

Last night we visited the Pittsburg Cloud Factory. Some author called it that because its a factory with a big stack that spits out clouds every once in a while and no one really knows what it actually does. Well we went there last night it was so scary and we totally freaked ourselves out because we thought secret police were after us. Yes. Anyway, then we went and checked outthe Fruit Loop, which is basically this place where old gay guys go and park and young guys come and... solicite their wears. Yeah, creepy. Anyway it's in the middle of a park and we drove over there because there was a gay guy in our car that wanted to see it and then we saw a car there and started yelling at Sara's sister to turn the car around. Then we went to some late night restaurant place where everone was dressed in the same colours for no apparent reason. We felt like outsiders.

Tonight we went and saw King Kong and I was watching it thinking "I love this movie, and I'm going to have to pretend I didn't like it because neither Sara or her sister will like it." and that made me sad but then Sara said she actually did like it. Yay!

Tomorrow we were going to go skiing but its apparently going to be raining so instead we're going hiking or to this huge sex shop on the cool hip south side. The end.
