this looking for a job thing has gotten me thinking about alternatives...
Before I started working at my last job I was thinking about going the "teach English in Asia" route at some point, but didn't really investigate much farther than the JET program in Japan, which only takes people once a year, and only in the fall for the next year's program. Meaning I could only go with JET in 2009 at the earliest.
So I'm looking into other organizations.
And I'm not sure where to start.
I'd like to teach in either Japan, Singapore or Thailand.
Preferably for a reputable company that pays for accommodations and/or flights.
Anyone got any recommendations?
*edit: I don't have a teaching certificate or TESL/TEFL but I do have a BA.
