More weekend junk
I am a posting fiend today! I rummaged through the old "Box of Projects Forgotten" and found the beginnings of several projects I wanted to do, and now I can! So, I'll do some storyboards for them this weekend, and maybe some more finished drawings, and perhaps, if I *really* have the work bugaboos, I might even begin on the real (reel? Hah!) work.
I was even thinking of perhaps sculpting a few things, since the Box has a box of sculpey in it. Nothing like whipping up a gnarly monster to put on your monitor. Something with a big eye, and tooth, or teeth if it's lucky.
I wish stores stayed open late here. I have a need of soup...either Turkey Gumbo or Cream of Broccoli soup...mmm... but since Massachussetts isn't as civilized as, oh, say, the backwaters of Florida there isn't any store here open past 11. I miss the 3am coffee and eggroll runs from school... I feel like going back. School was a lot of fun.
One of the Art Directors here has the most awesome paonting on the wall in front of me - it's got seven eyes of various sizes and pupil shape, all scattered in roiling flesh, and a great crag of a mouth with chipped and unevenly spaced teeth in it. Super cool.
