Harry Potter and his Stunt Double Arrive in London
Picked up Sean and Jen from Heathrow today.
Was extremely amused to see Daniel Radcliffe ( Harry Potter) being escorted off the plane
ahead of everyone else into Heathrow arrivals area by smug looking Virgin Atlantic employees
and what looked like to be his mother. He was wearing a baseball cap pulled low and looking
nervously around him like a pheasant on the first day of hunting season. In any other situation
he might have been mobbed, but at the International arrivals gate, I am thinking to myself
"Dude relax, this is the one place no one here is looking or waiting for YOU. They're here
for Auntie Mabis" A few other people recognised him, but one thing Londoners don't do is assult
celebrities in public....so he was allowed to melt away into the crowd.
I called Kim to tell him about my celebrity spotting, and he pointed out that while Daniel Radcliffe
had made a clean getaway, Sean was probebly getting mobbed at the baggage carousel. *L*
They are currently fed, showered and exhausted from their journey
and dead to the world secured in my guest room. The hostess in me in extremely pleased.
We're off to Stamford and Burghley House tomorrow.
