Can't Sleep... Grr...
This week has been fun so far. I stayed at Sal's house until Tuesday night (instead of just the weekend). It was a nice little vacation. I cleaned Loki and Sigyn's cage (our snakes) on Monday; then I cleaned Sal's room and did his laundry, not to mention read 'In Her Shoes' (an excellent book), while he was at work on Tuesday. Heh, it looks so much better now.
Today I hung out with my twin and we had a blast. We drove around for a while, went to a shop called Earth Lore, bugged Steve at work, and then stopped by Sal's to chill for a bit. We ended up smoking the hookah and talking for about an hour and then played with the snakes for a bit.
I came home and looked at my broken boots and resolved to fix them. The left boot had a broken zipper. I fixed it in about 20 minutes (you try threading a very broken zipper together, it's hell). Then I sewed the heels back together again. By hand. A total nightmare but very worth it, I feel quite accomplished. Now, if only I could conquer my insomnia here, I'd be great! Blah.
By the way, could somebody tell me how to LJ cut? There are some pics I'd like to post and I don't want to take up a ton of room...
