I can't fucking sleep.
I've tried to go to bed three times. But my mind keeps wandering or running or something. Whatever it's doing, it's keeping me up.
This might have something to do with the fact that I work in a coffee shop and get endless amounts of caffeine for free. Just maybe.
BAH!
In other news, a movie adaptation of one of my favorite books -- Running With Scissors -- is out, and I want to go see it. If anyone else wants to see it, let me know. Maybe we can work something out. Or I'll just go by myself. I'm thinking Friday or Saturday, since I don't work those days.
And, one of my favorite horror movies - The Others -- was on TV tonight. Maybe it was just because I was alone and sitting in the dark watching it, but that movie was about ten times creepier than I remember it being. And this was like, the eighth time I've watched it.
Oh yeah. Today, whilst going to get food on campus at Stanford, I saw a dead squirrel on the bike path. Someone seriously ran over a squirrel on their bike. It's head was ... uhm ... colorful? And had a nifty bike-tire design across it. I'm not sure what's weirder about this situation: the fact that the squirrel was so dumb that it stood there while a bike -- which, living at Stanford, I'm sure it sees EVERY DAY -- comes barreling down at it, or the fact that a person, whilst on their bike, saw a squirrel in their path and didn't both to stop or, you know, dodge it.
Actually, I do know which is weirder. The person wins, because the squirrel is -- well, it's a FUCKING SQUIRREL! OF COURSE IT'S STUPID! The human didn't have that excuse. Seriously, who the hell hits a squirrel on their bike?
