So sweet! It's hard to be separated from the one you love :)

Sam is so analytical I think the only time this relationship makes sense is when she's lost in the moment. she doesn't want to think about what she's doing or how badly she's falling for him.

This is love that's almost like an addiction, and when he's not near she goes into withdrawal. He's a habit she can't kick (or wants to...)

Who'd want to quit something like that? ;) I kind of read some worry for him in there, too - with his clones kicking the bucket left and right I think she'd be a little anxious but maybe that's just me projecting.

I like that he immediately went to offer comfort after he overcame his initial o_O at finding her there waiting. He'll get a clue yet.

Pfft, not me... Yeah, I think she was worried, and she certainly didn't know where his head was at (blowing things up, most probably).

He's not entirely to blame - she did sort of pass his irritation off. She doesn't get what he's lost, I don't think, doesn't understand he's... looking for a place to land.

I like the image of Sam alone in a big bed in a goa'uld ship, waiting for him. I had a passing thought of some kind of Sam gets injured and lost and Baal finds her and she wakes up with no memory and he looks after her, and then she gets her memory back and goes back to the SGC somehow. I imagine it happening before we really get to see Baal on the show so I suppose s4 or s5 really. I wonder what would happen, would she make him good or would he be goauldish and manipulative and treat her like a pet. Mmmm...sorry is this kind of thing even appropriate in a comment?

Anyway, nice little fic. It's good to come home and find three in one day! *kisses you*

You're welcome :)

Baal isn't very "goauldish" anyway, so there might have been a window of opportunity to get him on their side. What I find very interesting is the fact he made no attack on the SGC - he left Earth alone until they attacked him with the Avenger virus.

I think Continuum, as much as I hate it, gives the best overall look at what he was trying to achieve - dominion over the Goa'uld, the true loyalty of the Jaffa (elevating them to soldiers rather than slaves) and a galaxy-wide dictatorship under a relatively benevolent leader.

You don't like Continuum? Perhaps I like it becuase it is choc full of Baaly goodness, or maybe because the Ark of Truth was more Ori related nonsense (at least they squeezed the Replicators in there tho and Sam had nice hair!).

No, I hate it. Not because he get extracted (though I'm not keen on that) but because it's full of plot holes and hand waving. Plus I'm not a fan of time travel episodes as they always hit the reset button.

Baal is delicious though. But I'd like to have seen more of him and Qetesh (a want echoed by Cliff incidentaly) and I'd like to have seen more interaction with him and Earth.
