Monthly Promotion Post
We've never done this here before, but I got the idea over at sexy_mood_music. It's as the subject suggests - every month, there will be a great big post of other communities - mostly graphic-related - like icontests/challenges, posts of affiliates, etc that I all think you'd enjoy. You, the members, also have the option of promoting your own stuff in the comments. It's a great way to spread the word!

turbo_rumble - a rumble challenge is like a LIMS, only no one is eliminated; instead you're ranked throughout the challenge for an eventual winner. This round is for movies, current challenge (which can still be signed up for) is located here.
trope_overdosed - for icons based on TV Tropes. Four categories per contest: two topical tropes, two technical tropes. The current round is here.
iconcritic - for icon makers of all skills to get constructive criticism & work on their skills; current challenge is but I'll edit when a new one comes up.
