Okay, so I have a boatload (literally! you could fill a boat with them!) of icon tutorials to try out. But.. the thing is, I lack subjects. Of course, I have some things I can get subjects from, but I thought I'd make a post for all of it to go in one place

I have recently fallen completely in love with Charlotte Mew's poetry. Here are some awesome (to me) excerpts:

Knitting. There are simply not enough knitting icons out there. Possibly even one that says "yarn crack"? ;-) We love our yarn. heh.

And anything of the STEAMPUNK persuasion I will glom onto instantly. Whether keys, goggles, anything antiquey looking (browns, siennas, coppers).
