100 River Tam Icons

Good god, this took so long. (Nearly a month of almost-solid iconing.)

I've done sets of 100 icons before, but nothing like this! It really redefined an icon "challenge" for me.

That said, I'm thrilled with the end result. I experimented with a lot of different iconing techniques, and (I hope) grew as an icon maker. Oh, and fulfilled my itch to icon River, but that rather goes without saying. ;)

For those who haven't heard of Firefly or Serenity, look at these icons anyway! Some of the quotes, pictures, references, and so on will only be caught by people who know the series well, but I'm hoping that nearly all of the icons are usable by everyone, not just Firefly fans.

However, I'd strongly recommend you do watch Firefly. It's one season, and can be gotten from your local video store, NetFlix or similar, and sometimes even your library. It's created by Joss Whedon (the same guy who did Buffy & Angel), and is absolutely stunning. Oh, and once you're addicted (I give it three episodes, tops), make sure to get the movie Serenity; the series culminates and ends (as much as any series does) there.
