It has come to my attention that some people have been posting their entries to icon journals/communities before voting ends. For my contests, and for the Viewers' Choice part of Enri's contests, the entries are supposed to be anonymous: this means that other people should not know that the icon is yours ( Read more... )

Yeah, next contest I won't be allowing userpics as a form of hosting contest icons. Too non-anonymous, you know?

So yes, please wait until after voting ends. ^^

Is it alright if I upload to my LJ Scrapbook? I use that for all my image hosting now, as it's not as tempermental as photobucket. No one looks there anyways...

I'd prefer you didn't, but if it's your only hosting option than it should be OK. It's nowhere near as public as userpics or posting things outright in a journal.

Scrapbook is perfectly private if you upload to your unsorted gallery (or to one that's not linked from anywhere.) You cannot link to your unsorted gallery as a whole, so the only way to see an image in it is to have the direct image url.

Ah, OK. That'll work just fine then, if you don't have it linked to anywhere.
