Evocative landscapes

Sep 05, 2005 08:30

I was recently gifted with the 100-icon package and, as appropriate, spent some time sitting around going, "Gosh, where in the world am I going to find 100 icons that I like and that suit me?" So I poked through older posts here and found that the icons I was most likely to take were pictures of landscapes without text. I've always been a 'place' person, inclined to use locations rather than people to represent myself.

Here are some more images, all without people (unless you count horses and elephants-- or even geographic features-- as people, and I do mean that seriously: one doesn't joke about such things after taking a class on Native American religions). I enjoyed making them, and I think they might be useful as bases (or as textless icons).

75 landscapes; 11 pictures of parts of the Alhambra in Spain, as per a request.

If you do take any, please tell me precisely which you took. Lately I've been getting too many people saying things like, "Took a few": read the rules!

(Also, be sure not to miss Enri's LC icons.)
