Totally Nerdiness Rules!

Ok, I have to get this out. Ok, in my EFA class, almost everybody else was getting the next part of the play ready. So cye_nako, our friend and me had plenty of talk time.

This is a Yu-gi-oh filled day, so deal with it. (Wait, what day isn't filled with Yu-gi-oh somewhere? ...Point taken)

Anyway, a guest speaker made a guest appearance for a second. I pointed and told her, "Trenchcoat."

She laughed, knowingly and said, "Kaiba." I told her yes, but it's also Tristan since he has that kind of trenchcoat.

Then I asked what their favorite color was. She said baby blue, and cye_nakosaid purple. My head fell back as I laughed. Then I pointed and said, "Kaiba colors!"

We got to talking about the manga...don't know how that happened. I got out the manga and cye flipped through it, saying how cute Mokuba was when he yells at Seto, which is very true. Seto needs someone to yell at him, he's too hard-headed. Apparently her friend, who is a big Kaiba fan, said he laughs at random moments. Yes, yes he does.

I said Malik (Yami Marik) was insane in the manga too. She said he was fluffy, because of his hair, which is also true. She was flipping through it, and suddenly stopped, held up a page and said, "Look, bondage." We started cracking up the rest of the day about fluffy bondage. She said Yu-gi-oh is one giant metaphor for bondage.

I said, "It's not really a metaphor, it's pretty obvious."

At lunch, we got on the subject of Yu-gi-oh when my friend, who always listens to her ipod at lunch was looking through a Inyusha manga. I said I usually get into things late, but I got into Yu-gi-oh relatively early. We got to talking about Kaiba's green hair, gold eyes (which really weirded my other friend out, who's apparently a big fan of his through the mangas, don't know how that happened. Her eyes grew and she leaned back.), and the fact he almost killed Mokuba.

My ipod friend was like, "What?" So I had to explain it.

I asked the guy that sits with us, where he was in the mangas. He said something about a ferris wheel and something about Yugi loving Yami. I said, "Whow, whow. That doesn't happen in the series, you must be reading fan crap."

My ipod friend was really weirded out by this, but it turns out it was just a misunderstanding. I told her it's called puzzleshipping (Yami and Yugi) and it isn't uncommon at all.

cye_nako told me I have to watch something into order to hate and critisie it. Makes sense... So I should watch GX before I can hate on it. The only episode I've seen is the Kaibaman episode and the brief appearance by Kaiba.

He does look the same (just the LittleKuriboh said), though you can tell he's older. He still acts the same and has the same outfit. Reviews were weirded by this, and I said to my friends at lunch, "What else would you expect him to wear?" Which is a very good question, what would they like him to wear instead?

He's a Scorpio, so it makes sense.

And Kaibaman scares me. The people are stupid, it took them the whole freaking episode to figure out it was Kaiba. His face was covered...but he had the same voice, same outfit, same freaking deck, same attitude, and he had Blue Eyes White freaking Dragons! It really doesn't take a genius to see what's going on here! But apparently if you cover your face, no one knows who you are, even if it's still obvious.

Yeah Kaibaman acts like Kaiba for the most part, until he basically told Jaiden to...ok I forgot what he said. But he basically told him that it isn't the end of the world to lose. Yeah that sounds like Kaiba, and the way he said it creeped me out.

Oh and my brother pointed out that Kaibaman (the duel monster that Kaiba, obviously, made) is weak. He only has 900 attack points. I laughed. Why would Kaiba make a monster, named after himself, and make it weak? That makes no sense, totally out of character. My brother and I still laugh at the fact Kaibaman summons himself. "I summon myself!"
cye_nako told me that is common in GX but it's still funny.

Yeah Kaibaman creeps me out. I love my egomaniac Seto. Oh and
cye_nako also said that Kaiba's a narcisist. He doesn't look in a mirror, because he knows he looks good! ...Don't know if I see that happening, but it's an awesome image. And I'd like to think he's not THAT dense to know the effect he'd have on girls.

I have a hard time even looking at GX. It doesn't have any of the main charactes in it, really at all. They only make brief cameos. Yu-gi-oh is about a short, sweet high schooler who gets bullied and solves a puzzle and crazy stuff happens because of it.

GX is about a bunch of kids who go to a school by one of the main characters, who only makes one appearance! Pegasus is there at some point, so's Joey... (They named monkey Wheeler at some point. I thought that was funny.)

And they only show Yugi, who's twenty-plus years old, only from the nose down, they don't show his eyes. But it's obvious he grew up since then, which totally shocked me. Everyone else looks the same and Yugi totally beefed up, man! He finally went through puberty and started looking like Atem. Nice...

Well I have seen episodes of 5D, subbed (Japanese) and dubbed (English), so I shall rant about that.

...Next time. For now, I'll talk about my writing, cause no entry is complete without it. I actually did a good job on writing it last night, I'm a bit surprised. Pleasantly so. I write a bit today in English, on the bus, I'm writing everywhere! Well not everywhere but more than usual. I'm so happy about it.

Oh and I also discovered why Seto hates the past. Why didn't I see this before? But before that, I have something funny. Depending on what Wikipedia I check, Seto could be an "Other" character, a "Protagonist" or an "Antagonist." I laugh when I see he's an "Other" character. I know, he doesn't exactly belong in the other categories but..."Other?" He's in the same category as Weevil, Mai, and Serenity? What?

Anyway, his parents died, so he was left alone in the world with his brother, who he had to protect. His relatives used up their inheritence and sent them to an orphange. Then Gozaburo was forced to adopt them, and made Seto study till his death. Well not death, but made him study hard, and it doesn't say, but I bet he abused him in some way too. Probably emotionally.

I knew studying too much was bad for you! I had to say that. Anyway again, and that bastard taught Seto to hate, to hate to lose and just hate in general. I'm guessing Seto already hated people before he met Gozaburo, and that son of a bitch just grew it.

Alright, this (as usual) long entry is now done. Someday I'll rant again..!

Wait a minute, this just struck me, this is from his entry in the YGO Wikipedia entry: "He also has randon gray colored studs because he is a goth and likes to cut himself." Wait, what? What the fuck? Where the fuck did this come in? What does that have to do with it? Goth? What? When did they EVER say he was a cutter? What?

I think someone did this to be funny or something. This makes me pretty angry. The kind of anger that would eat at you, and possibly make me physically violent...
