So the basic gist is to list 15 of your all time favorite characters (or the first 15 that come to mind) and answer the following questions.
I'm guessing this means fictional characters in general, and I have way too many, so I'll add to the list as they come to mind:
1. Akkarin (from the Black Magician Trilogy; he's such a wonderfully misunderstood character for the majority of the book, and I got so attached to him.
2. Laura Roslin (Battlestar Galactica; if you scanned through my journal, the evidence is self-explanatory.)
3. Remus Lupin (Harry Potter; I just... adore him *cries*)
4. Minerva McGonagall (Harry Potter; she just sort of strikes me very deeply as probably one of my favorite Profs from the series. I love her no-nonsense yet still fun sort of personality.)
5. Numair Salmalin (aka Arram Draper XD; from The Immortals quartet by Tamora Pierce; I loved this Tortall series by her, and he's such an interesting scatter-brained character.)
6. Veralidaine Sarrasri (aka Daine; also from The Immortals quartet; stubborn, sensible, and loves animals, what more?)
7. Dumbledore (Harry Potter; I love him. Period. Just, I found him to be fascinating, and I really admire the way JKR managed to delve into his backstory.)
8. Haruhi (Ouran HSHC; probably tied with Kyouya as my favorite characters from the show; she's adorable, and I seem to really like characters with either a lot of sense, or none at all XD)
9. Kyouya (Ouran HSHC; just, he's such a complicated character, and I seem to really love complicated characters as well.)
10. Jean Grey (X-Men; the redhead with a temper... just, she has been a favorite of mine since I watched the X-Men animated series as a child and watched her sacrifice herself, and in my little child's head, I felt beyond amazed and humbled by what love can do to and for a person.)
11. Admiral William Adama (Battlestar Galactica; a complicated character in and of himself, but still adorable nonetheless in a weird even I don't understand sort of way... strange?)
12. Gaius Baltar (Battlestar Galactica; because he is selfish and crazy and his character and mind fascinates me so much)
13. Raven ([Teen] Titans; yes, I'm a child at heart, and she's another fascinating character... I mean literal inner demons, end of worlds and all ^_^)
14. Billy Keikeya (Battlestar Galactica; not a main character, but I sufficiently do not care. I still miss him ;_;)
15. Sherlock Holmes (Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes mysteries)

Q: Which makes more sense? 2/5 or 2/7?
Uhm... with the way both of them are? More than slightly scatter-brained... sort of academics... and just... wow. She would murder them. Okay, no, but she WOULD treat them like children more likely than pair with either of them. Plus, Numair is already happily married, and Dumbledore... well... Anyways, Bill would also kill them both otherwise magical or not, so it would be better for everyone just to remain friends.
Q: Three, Eight and Twelve are trying to break out of jail. Do they succeed?
LOL. Yes, and no. Lupin has his magic, so unless it's Azkaban, then it's not unlikely, Haruhi's common sense would certainly come in handy, and Gaius. Well, he IS a genius, but would it be horrible if I said that hey would most likely just leave him behind? Then again, he always manages to get himself out of everything.
Q: Who is hotter? 15 or 6?
I agree, awkward question. (^_^)" As for character-wise... I don't think I would be able to choose between them. Mostly because they are located on such opposite extremes of the spectrum. Daine is empowered, simple but intelligent, and so very passionate. Holmes... though I believe that he's no less passionate in his own way, but he's so logical and just brilliant and so very cynical. The only thing I can say is that they're at least both stubborn. Very stubborn.
Q: If 13 and 3 were forced to hide out in a closet together, what would they end up doing?
Lupin would probably fidget a bit and try to make conversation while Raven broods and remains really quiet until he gets the clue. (^_^)""" [Yes, I'm taking her personality from the animated version and not the comics.] He would probably then fall asleep while she meditates. A best case scenario requiring interaction? They both start discussing different books.
Q: Would 4 make a good mom/dad?
Hmm... I've never saw McGonagall as a mother honestly. She always seemed to me like the teacher who's good at handling the children but I'm not sure how she would deal with children of her own, but certainly, she's dealt with enough kids to make a capable mom.
Q: Who would you rather have for a sibling, 1 or 11?

In his younger years, he might have been the older brother that I wanted to kill, but... yeah... Though, actually, I think it would be interesting to have Akkarin as a brother. He seems to be someone who has a good sense for fun and exploration (despite the changes life has reaped upon him), and he also seems like the sort that you could always depend on to be there for you when you need help, so yeah. And also... he seems so alone.
Q: Poor 14, no date to the prom. Would they go anyway, or stay home and sulk. If they did go, what kind of time would they have?

LOL... !!! I'm ready to die of laughter right now. How many alternate universe children has Jean already had by now? XD Just... she would probably be like "Here we go again" and just. Kyouya would be wondering where his calculations went wrong and how he could have possibly allowed himself to get into this situation (which I don't think either of them would have allowed in the first place). And Billy? Poor Billy wouldn't really care and probably just be really confused that he's being asked to consider such a situation and blush.

Hmm... Akkarin and Haruhi? I think that they would be out of the elevator soon enough with their capabilities to think clearly in such situations.

Hello... Dumbledore, probably one of the strongest/most powerful wizards of his time... He would probably be able to make the demon into a pet, and Kyouya would tame said demon with a single glare and then utilize it as a faithful servant.
Q: 13 wants 15, what is 10 going to do about it?
I'll be completely honest: This situation is mind-bogglingly confusing and makes no sense whatsoever. LOL!
Q: 12 and 2 are kissing and 5 catches them. What happens next?
Okay, see this has already happened, and this WOULD only happen, in 12's/Gaius's dreams. And Numair might not give a frak, but Laura would... well, I fear for Gaius what she might do to him (castration, airlocking, execution by way of torture... all possible), and just... I would be more worried about 11 if I were 12. (Bill would murder him... strangulation being highly probable). XD

Both sensible and practical. Laura and Daine huh? They would most likely come up with a plan. Both know all about survival and just... they would most likely ration and share the water while slowly making their way towards shore. (^_^)
