Yep, he was in Fires of Pompeii, with Ten and Donna. He was the father of the family they rescued.

He was so damn good in Torchwood.

I kinda like that they don't care about reusing actors, like in Deadwood. If they're good, they're good.

Maybe they'd say something about faces being reused in the universe or there only being a certain number of faces that get recycled.

He was AMAZING in Torchwood. And yeah, the re-use of actors is kinda cool, though there's something to be said for giving work to more people.

The canon around how regeneration works is already so wanky, it's hard to imagine they could make it wankier. (:
