I feel like I should recognise that bag but I don't. The clasp feels like Miu Miu. I don't really understand the timeline of the Carrie Diaries - is it set in the 70s? Or modern day?

Based on this book during Carrie's high school years. The book and the TV show are both set in 1984 I believe. (Or thereabouts.) I only mildly tolerated the book, but I really liked the pilot episode for some reason so I'm gonna give it a whirl.

Was there a second episode already? I only watched the pilot and while that is hardly high quality entertainment I thought it was better than I anticipated it to be.
