Rewatching lots of Smallville lately and really seeing Lana in a new light. I would be moved to make a vindicating vid for her, except that vid already exists in the form of keewick's masterful oldie-but-goodie Sugar. It shows us just how much bitterness lies beneath Lana's quintessential sweetness, how much she understands her own powerlessness, and how much the people she loves have failed her in their pursuit of their larger-than-life destinies. So good. *shivers in delight*
