This was a blind panic replacement once I found out my original Club Vivid idea wasn’t going to pan out. I'd always wanted to vid Edward/Jacob even though I didn't have a song for them, so I sort of picked one at random. Can't go wrong with Shakira.
For all its crackiness, making this vid has actually made me start shipping Edward/Jacob in earnest. Just look at the seething sexual tension! The MTV Awards kiss helped ease the pain some.
The vid was a bitch to make because Bella insisted on being in every scene between the boys. (Or, well, pretty much every scene ever.) I had a field day vindictively cropping her out of clips and you can still see vestiges of her haunting the vid.
The boys didn't want the vid to have a plot, as they preferred to stand around and pout. I tried for something vague along the lines of "Edward has cold feet because of their star-crossedness, oh noes, a vampire in love with a werewolf!" but that half-arsed conflict was established and resolved in about 10 seconds, so I also put in some shirtless clips to distract you.
If you know enough about New Moon to know the diving clip at 1:28 isn't of Jacob, you know too much about New Moon. :P
