Harry Potter DVD came out in New Zealand yesterday, and my sister bought it as soon as possible, but since I didn't like the fourth movie all that much I wasn't in a lot of hurry to sit down and watch it with her. I did watch the deleted scenes today though - and of course the coolest, most fabulous thing was seeing all those close-ups of Jonny

Mark and I are starting to talk about wedding dates. At the moment it's looking like quite late 2007. He's trying to get me to agree to December 10th, because that's when we got together and also when he proposed, so he thinks if we can set the wedding on that day he'd have much less trouble remembering anniversaries. :D Forward planning. Anyway, this is a bit of forward planning for you too - hope it'll be a convenient time for you to come.

Mark is quite smart, you know? :D I'm not sure if Dec 10th will work for me, uni-wise, but who knows if I'll even be at uni by then. Either way, I'll find a way to come. :)

I found the perfect comical pregnant!Boomer character study Miss Universum - Fertilize, but I'll have to wait for the first half of BSG season 2 source.
Good luck on the writing and the vidding. The Simon/River vid sounds very cool and interesting. Sometimes if there's an idea, the rest just comes into place later. And extra special good luck on the papers. :)

Or you realise the idea is so abstract that nothing you can actually do would work in the way you wanted it to. Bugger. I guess I'm going to take a while with this. Thanks for the luck!

What's the song for the Simon/River vid? ('Cause I always end up downloading the songs you use. ;-) )

I actually thought Voldemort swanned around a bit more than necessary. I dunno. The whole Deatheater thing just didn't quite seem like what I'd expected.
The song is "Post Blue" by Placebo, off the new album.

One will probably always hold a special place in my heart (how cheesy) because I love beginnings. Beginnings are just always holding something over anything that comes later. They have been hacking off lots of sideplots, but sometimes I think that's better because any movie beyond two hours and forty-five minutes makes me sleepy and antsy. Return of the King had that effect. Every time the screen when white or black near the end I was thinking, "Oh, tell me it's over!" even though we hadn't seen the Grey Havens yet.
I thought Voldemort moved around a little too much. I understood he just got his body back, and clearly he had to be feckin' ecstatic about that. But Voldemort doesn't strike me as the type of person to show that in front of other people, even if it has been thirteen years. I can't see anything but coolness from him. They made him just a bit more emotional ( ... )
