I caved...
I was trying to wait and watch the new Avatar episodes from my Vol. 3 DVD until I could have a big geek party with some friends, but I watched them over the weekend instead.
Well, I had one friend over already... She had to leave in the middle of Boiling Rock pt. 1.
So...
Zuko was just... so adorably awkward!
"Why am I so bad at being good?!" XD This is the side of Zuko I love. The side the truly has no idea how to interact with other human beings.
And am I the ONLY one who cheered when Katara threatened him at the end of WAT? Yeah, WE know that Zuko's sincere, but I think Katara has every right to be suspicious and pissed. Zuko has been throwing fireballs at them for the past year, and his mind is fraked up enough to be considered unpredictable. I think Katara's reaction was totally justified.
The bonding moments between Sokka and Zuko were awesome.
"My first girlfriend turned into the moon."
"That's rough, buddy."
"Buddy" sounds so weird coming from Zuko.
Mai kicked massive ass. Then so did Ty Lee. I loved that moment where Ty Lee stops Azula. So awesome.
I wasn't expecting Hakoda at all. Seriously. His attempt to start the prison riot was hilarious.
That's all I'm cheering about right now. My AWS has eased up a bit.
